Decent desk, functions well

Wish the joints and seems were slightly tighter, but over all I am happy. For the price point it is a good product. Would buy again if needed.

Best desk purchase ever

I love this desk. I’ve had it for about 4 months now. I debated a long time about what type of standing desk to buy. I really wanted one with a hand crank vs electric because I have children that would no doubt play with raising and lowering an electric one when I was away. I have 3 monitors (2 in landscape & one in portrait orientation) plus my laptop all next to each other on this. I have to turn the laptop a little sideways, but I would have to do that anyway to see the screen properly. I’m 5’ 5” and with the desk at the lowest height and my seat at the highest height, it’s still about an inch higher than what I’d consider ideal, but it isn’t uncomfortable. Raising and lowering takes a little time with the crank, but with all that weight on it, it still adjusts with no problem. I also love the depth of this desk. I have PLENTY of room for my keyboard, mouse, notepads, pens, some fun little knick knacks, snacks, and a drink or two or three when I’ve forgotten to take my others to the sink. I didn’t find the instructions confusing, but I also watched the assembly video first so that helped. It is VERY HEAVY. Make sure to assemble it right by where it will live. Mine did come in two boxes as mentioned when I bought it, but I was lucky and got both boxes the same day :)

cheap particle board

the wood screws pull free of the particle board at the cross braces, the three leaves of the desktop start to separate and become uneven

First one was great, second one was noticeably more cheaply made...

I bought this desk in 2018, and I still love it. With a good amount of weight on it, the height adjustment is still smooth and the tabletop itself is nice and sturdy thanks to the long bars that provide support across all three sections. Speaking of those long support bars...I bought a second one of these desks in 2022 because I needed a second desk for my workstation that has been moved home from the office. I was excited to get building until I grabbed the hardware bag out of the tabletop box and noticed that there were now wooden pegs inside. I didn't remember those.... Searching the rest of the box, I found a set of four tiny (in comparison) support bars meant to provide support at the joints instead of across the entire table. The inserts for bolts on the bottom of the tabletop were done away with as well, replaced with cheap screws, though the holes do still come pre-drilled...The desk feels ok, but I don't have anywhere near as much confidence in it as I do in the one I purchased in 2018. I thought about sending it back, but I do genuinely like the look of it, and it fits well in my space. i just can't understand which engineer thought that shrinking the support bars was a good idea. They're made out of steel and likely hot-extruded. There's no way there was an immense savings coming from this decision to make an arguably worse product. Time will tell. If the desk breaks any time soon, I'll update this review to a 1.

I’m 6’3 and this desk will be perfect if you are 6’3 and shorter… I don’t know how much taller you could be without it starting to be uncomfortable.Great desk and no complaints thus far
