Broken tap left in one

The manufacturer left a broken off tap in one of the holes. I wasn’t able to remove the tap, and needed to use my industrial belt sander to sand it flat so I could mount the monitor. (The tap was extremely hard, and actually wrecked a file, which was my first solution). I would have sent it back, but I was In The middle of a double monitor mount project and didn’t want to wait a week.

HP 27f? Don't buy!

The fit of this bracket on my monitor is way too loose even for the pad that's provided to compensate. If you have an HP 27f monitor, do not buy. I will say this bracket seems to be well made besides the loose fitting, it is very durable and heavy.
