Since beginning their ergonomics efforts in 1979, they saw an 83% decrease in back injuries and a 23% decrease in worker compensation costs. Honeywell, an electronics manufacturer, spent nearly $355,000 on ergonomic upgrades and saw productivity increases of 37% and $2.1 million per year overall savings. Those numbers alone should convince you of the benefits of ergonomics!
